Writing about the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball’s National League isn’t always the easiest thing to do, but Bradley Sudol loves to do it anyway. You see, when you love a team as much as Brad does, you stick by it no matter what. The fact that the first modern World Series was played in 1903 and it took the Phillies until 1980 to win one is hard to think about, but then, the Chicago Cubs went 108 years without winning one, so it could be worse. It’s only the fourth-longest World Series drought in Major League Baseball history, which means bloggers for three other teams have had it much harder.
Bradley Sudol doesn't focus on things like that, anyway; he would much rather concentrate on the progress the Phillies make from season to season. Besides, the fact that the Phillies are currently among the most successful franchises in professional baseball overshadows anything else about their history. They have been one of the most successful teams in the league throughout the modern era, winning 11 division titles since the divisional baseball era dawned in 1969, which places them fourth of the 15 teams in the National League and sixth among the 30 teams in all of Major League Baseball when it comes to divisional titles. So far in the 21st Century, they won five consecutive divisional titles at one point and they also won a World Series over the Tampa Bay Rays. For his career, Bradley Sudol is currently a professional electrician based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is certified as a master electrician who specializes in low-voltage wiring. To show that he takes safety seriously, he is also certified by OSHA and he is also certified to work on fire alarms. Brad Sudol also is NCCER certified for both electrical and carpentry, a certification that he has held for nearly a decade. Comments are closed.
